🌿 Friends of the Restored Wetlands Volunteer Group 🌿 Restoring Wetlands. Rebuilding Habitat. Connecting Community.

Heartland Forest is looking for passionate volunteers to help us protect and enhance our restored wetlands while inspiring others to connect with nature.

Volunteer opportunities include:
🌱 Habitat Restoration Volunteers – Remove invasive species, plant native vegetation, install nest boxes and hibernacula, and help monitor species at risk.

📸 Videography Volunteers – Capture photos and videos of our restoration efforts and help tell the story of this important project.

🎪 Event Support Volunteers – Assist with preparing and coordinating community events and help run educational activity stations.

📱 Social Media & Communications Volunteers – Help promote our wetland restoration project, upcoming events, and conservation successes.

Whether you have a green thumb, a creative eye, or a passion for community engagement, there's a place for you on our team!

Designed for older youth and adults with intellectual, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries, Club Create offers a fun and supportive space to explore arts, crafts, woodworking, and creativity using a variety of tools and materials.

✨ New projects every session — so there’s always something fresh to create!

🕓 Choose from two time slots: 4:00–6:00 PM OR 6:30–8:30 PM
📍 Heartland Forest Art Studio

Participants must be 16+ and attend with a support person.
