Thank you to Legion Magazine for the opportunity to share my case on behalf of the Ridgeway Nine, and their fight for permanent recognition in the books of history.

Canada's independence and sovereignty can be traced back to the men who fought this conflict in 1860. Let's finish the battle.

Attention Shipmates: Upcoming Fall Events attended by RCNA Niagara. All are welcome.

•Thursday Sept 3, 2026 at 1100: Merchant Marine Memorial: Spencer Park, Burlington. Dress of the day will be Whites #1 with medals.

•Sunday Sept 20, 2026. Be seated by 1245 for 1300 service: Battle of Britain-Chippewa Park on First Street in Welland. President Daniel Rodrique will say a few words and Shipmate Richard Brown will lay the wreath on behalf of RCNA Niagara. Dress of the day will be Whites #1 with medals.

•Saturday Sept. 26, Doors Open at 1630, Dinner at 1700: Veterans Appreciation Dinner, PC Branch 56. RSVP by September 19. Dress of the day will be whites #1 with medals.

•Saturday October 3, 2026, 1000-1600: Fall Book Fair and BBQ in support of the Niagara Military Museum.

•Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 1300: The Niagara Academy for Indigenous Relations is hosting its annual Valour & Victory Honouring Indigenous Veterans Ceremony on in Queenston Heights Park. RCNA Niagara will lay a wreath.
