Our goal is to unite the citizens of Niagara and the local, community-based organizations to achieve equitable development that provides the greatest benefit to all. We strive to
create a respectful, engaging, and informative platform for community-focused
infrastructure discussions, including community benefit agreements (CBAs). To make
the most of your experience, please familiarize yourself wit
h our social media policy:
1. Stay on-topic: Focus your conversations on infrastructure projects, CBAs, and
topics relevant to the Niagara Community Benefit Network's mission. This policy
helps maintain a productive community forum and promotes meaningful
dialogue.
2. Practice respectful communication: Treat all members and moderators with
kindness, dignity, and consideration. Disagreements are welcome, but they should never escalate into disrespectful
behavior.
3. Steer clear of excessive political discourse: While political issues may sometimes
intersect with infrastructure and CBAs, remain focused on the positive impact
these topics have on the community and avoid excessive political debates. Refrain from promoting individual political parties or candidates during your
discussions.
4. Share constructive content: Keep your posts positive, educational, and
solution-focused. Share credible resources, news articles, personal experiences,
and ideas related to infrastructure, CBAs, and community building.
5. Report inappropriate content: If you encounter any policy violations or
uncomfortable situations, please report them to the moderators immediately. Moderators reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines
and, when necessary, issue warnings or permanently ban users. Your participation supports our mission to foster a more equitable and prosperous
Niagara region through CBAs and community-centric infrastructure projects. By working
together, we can create an inclusive and valuable space for all members.
