Private Wells & Municipal Water

Residents with private wells are reminded to ensure their well is properly separated from the municipal water system to prevent contamination of the drinking water supply. An air gap is the preferred method of protection.

If you no longer use your private well, consider having it properly decommissioned.

Keep our recycling service safe & operational.

Propane tanks were found in our recycle bin which are prohibited.

Propane tanks and other hazardous materials do not belong in the bin. They can cause fires, serious injuries, equipment damage, and service shutdowns.

Putting these items in the recycling is not a harmless mistake - it puts our staff and community at risk.

Check before you toss. Follow the accepted items poster.

If prohibited materials continue to be placed in the bins, we risk the discontinuation of the service.

Do the right thing. Think before you throw.
