At Leduc County Day, we were happy to announce the winners of this year’s I 🩷 Local Art contest!

For the first time, we went entirely digital, and wow, did you guys impress us with your skills behind the camera.

We received some incredible submissions showcasing the great features that make Leduc County such a great place to live, work and explore. They really are worth showing off to the rest of the province.

Join us on Tuesday, Sept. 22, for an informative presentation featuring Leduc Regional Housing Foundation and Assisted Living Alberta.

In this presentation, we will first learn about local seniors' housing options, including the rent assistance program and application processes. Next, we will cover the topic of Continuing Care, including the range of funded program options available, care levels (Type A, B, and C), costs, eligibility, and how to access these services.

*Major traffic disruption northbound on the QE2. RCMP are advising motorists to avoid the area and to find alternative roadways to travel. Please exercise caution so emergency crews can operate safely.*

Alberta RCMP in RCMP are currently on scene of a collision on Highway 2 northbound near township road 492. As a result, Highway 2 northbound between Glenpark Road and Highway 2a is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted onto Glenpark road.

The second stage of dust control suppression is under way across Leduc County.

Over the next few weeks, our crews will be applying dust suppressant to gravel roads throughout the County to help improve driving conditions and reduce dust.

If you encounter crews working, please slow down and give them plenty of space to work safely.
