2026 Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Shawanaga First Nation is proud to be co-hosting the Robinson Huron Treaty Gathering 2026!
We’re looking for volunteers to help make this important gathering a success. This is a great opportunity to earn school volunteer hours, connect with and meet members of other Robinson Huron Treaty Nations, build community connections, and take part in an important cultural gathering. Whether you can help for a few hours or throughout the event, your support is greatly appreciated!

Water service has now been turned back on. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to repair the waterline.

Before using your water, please run your taps for 30 seconds to 1 minute to allow the lines to clear.

We will be turning off the water ASAP as we have discovered a major leak in our waterline during our ongoing watermain project.

The affected area will be from roughly 34 Shebeshekong Road to approximately 5 Shebeshekong Road. Residents in this area will be without water while we work to repair the issue.

Our team is working as quickly as possible to resolve the problem and restore water service. We will provide an update once the water has been turned back on.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to get this issue fixed.
