🐿️ There’s a good chance you’ll catch a glimpse of wildlife while visiting us. This is one of the most exciting parts about coming to our park!

But please: do not feed wildlife. Some food can be harmful to animals and feeding them can interfere with their natural behaviours.

🌕 Moths are marvellous! Here are some fun facts about these awesome critters:

🕰️ Some moths only live a few days. This is just enough time for them to mate and lay eggs. Some moths don’t even eat!

📡 Male moths have large, bushy antennae to sense female moth pheromones from great distances.

🦇 Some moths have evolved ear-like organs that allow them to hear and avoid bats, which commonly prey on moths.

Pictured here is a Polyphemus Moth, Io Moth, Rosy Maple Moth, and a Hickory Tussock Moth.
