Do to size of our group we have changed the location of our 2019 Christmas party as well as the date.

Hello Unifor members,

This coming Monday October 28th the rec committee will be meeting at Cecil’s at 4:45pm to discuss our upcoming Christmas dinner/party dated for Dec 14th at The Grande.
(Posters and flyers will be going out soon)

We are also holding our annual Unifor Recreation Committee Elections. Everyone is welcome. This is your opportunity to be apart of our committee or nominate a member to a position on the committee.

Our Unifor Railway Invitational Golf Tournament is on July 13th. At Highview Golf Course.

The Unifor rec committee is looking for more volunteers to help out planning our events throughout the year. We are going to be meeting soon to discuss our upcoming Railway Invitational Golf tournament that is at Highview Golf Course on August 17.
Any members interested please let us know and we’ll gladly add you to our committee.

50/50 tickets are now selling. We will be running 50/50 draws to help raise money for events throughout the year.
Tickets are $2 for 1 or $5 for 3.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

Ok people, the Halloween Party is coming up soon.
Here’s some info for you:

1. We have a bus, picking people up in front of the old sears 7:15pm, picking people up in front of sobeys 7:30pm, and picking people up in front of the Galaxy Theatre 7:45pm.

2. There is NO ATM at the Community Center so make sure you bring cash.

3. It costs a toonie to get in so please bring one, saves on change.

4. Invite your friends and family it’s going to be a great night.
