Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation The Board of directors includes 14 members of the community, an Executive Director and an Officer Manager.

Working with residents, businesses and groups in the community to raise funds for the Northside General and Harbourview Hospitals and to enhance healthcare on the Northside! The Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation was incorporated on August 13, 1992 with the province of Nova Scotia under the Societies Act as an official charitable fundraising body. The board members are chosen for their comm

itment to the community and their ability to inspire the support of others. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, to date, the Foundation has provided over $820,000 in new equipment purchases. The Foundation raises funds through many ongoing activities including: Community Events, Special Projects, In Memoriam Donations, Corporate Support, Bequests, Endowments, and Private Donations.

🍩🍦 Sweet Treats, Big Hearts & a Whole Lot of Summer Fun! ☀️💕

Four fabulous young ladies decided to turn their summer fun into something truly special! While enjoying time at their campground, Cassidy Halliday, Lilah Bond, Emma Power and Mackenzie Hawboldt set up their very own little fundraiser, selling donuts, slushies and pop to their fellow campers.

And their hard work paid off! Together, they raised $54—enough to treat the residents of Taigh Solas and 4 East at Northside General Hospital to some delicious ice cream on their next bus outing! 🍦💗

What a wonderful way to enjoy the summer while spreading kindness and bringing a few extra smiles to seniors in our community. These young ladies are a beautiful reminder that you’re never too young to make a difference!

Thank you, Cassidy, Lilah, Emma and Mackenzie, for your generosity, creativity and BIG hearts! 💕👏

🚗 What a Saturday! 🍿🍭

A huge thank you to the Northside Boys for putting on such a fantastic car show on Saturday! It was wonderful to see our community come together to enjoy the incredible cars, great company, and plenty of fun.

A special thank you to the Sydney Mines Fire Department for hosting the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation and giving us the opportunity to be part of the day. Together, we popped 35 pounds of popcorn 🍿 and spun 32 pounds of cotton candy 🍭 to share with everyone!

It is because of everyone working together that we are able to create such a strong, welcoming, and caring community. The Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation is so appreciative of everyone who helps enhance our community and demonstrates that “Care With Us” attitude every day. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make Saturday such a success! We are proud to be part of this amazing community. 💙
