If you notice some lights and fire trucks at the Sobeys end of the mall on Saturday- don't worry, It's just us firefighters raising money for Muscular Dystrophy. It's something we do every year. We're there from 10 am until 2. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

It is with great disappointment that we must announce that our Christmas Parade this year will not be a lights up, night time parade. Cape Breton Regional Police have decided that night time parades are not safe and will not be granting permission for a parade permit, which is necessary for insurance coverage for these events. EDIT: We will move forward with a 3pm start date for the parade on December 12th. Our folks will still enjoy the spirit of Christmas... just a little earlier in the day. We'll make it a great day!
