Structure fire causes power outage in Upper Lonsdale

Hydro crews are working to restore power to the Lonsdale Avenue and Osborne Road area after a structure fire on East Osborne Road near Lonsdale Avenue early Sunday morning destroyed one building and damaged a neighbouring structure, according to the District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services (DNVFRS).

Thank you to crews from the North Vancouver City Fire Department and West Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services for their assistance in responding to the incident.

Residents in the area may notice cloudy water due to firefighting efforts. The water is safe to drink and will return to clear.
Please avoid the area while crews continue their work.
