🥣 Brake for Breakfast is BACK! 🥣

When a student starts their day nourished, the ripple effect goes far beyond the classroom; it builds confidence, focus, and opportunity. 💛

The 12th Annual Brake for Breakfast is PLPSD’s largest fundraiser of the year, directly funding the daily breakfast and food programs our students rely on. Your generosity ensures every child in our division gets a fair, healthy start to their school day.

🐾 Friendly Reminder to Our School Community & Neighbors 🐾

We love our local pets, but we kindly ask all dog and cat owners in the neighborhood to help keep their furry friends off school grounds!

While cats are wonderfully curious, having free-roaming felines on property poses a few challenges during the school day:

Student & Pet Safety: Busy drop-off/pick-up traffic and crowded playgrounds can be dangerous for outdoor pets.

Allergies: Some of our students and staff have severe cat allergies.

Sanitation: Play areas need to stay clean and safe for our kids to play in.

How you can help:

Keep domestic cats indoors or safely contained in your yard, especially during school hours (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM).

Ensure your pet's collar and ID tags/microchip info are up to date in case they wander off.

Thank you for helping us keep our grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for all our students! ❤️🏫
