Stephen Crawford

Stephen Crawford MPP Oakville | Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement He was born and raised in Mississauga. It's time to unleash that potential.

Stephen Crawford is known as a hard-working businessman who cares passionately about Canada and it's future. He is committed to personal responsibility, freedom and making government more efficient. After graduating from Lorne Park Secondary School he studied Political Science at Western University in London. Stephen later attended The University of Toronto and achieved the Canadian Investment Man

ager (CIM) designation. At the young age of 32, Stephen became Senior Vice President, National Sales at Acuity Funds. Stephen helped Acuity's assets under management grow from $300 million to almost $10 billion making it one of the fastest growing investment firms in Canada. Acuity was acquired by a large public company in 2011. Stephen then had his sights on his next venture. In 2011, Stephen partnered with Kevin O'Leary and became a senior executive with O'Leary Funds. Successfully growing and transitioning the company over four years, the company was acquired in 2016. An important part of Stephen's life is to help make the planet a better place. Stephen has been a vocal advocate and fundraiser for Plan Canada's Because I am a Girl. The organization is focused on equal rights and education for girls. Locally, he has been a member of 100 Guys who Care, Oakville chapter and The Royal Canadian Military Institute. Stephen' interest in politics and world affairs began at a very early age. He was involved with the Conservative Party in high school through university. He was an ardent supporter of free trade and campaigned for the Conservatives in the 1988 election. His most recent involvement has been being a board member on the federal Conservative Board in Oakville. Family is the focal point of Stephen's life. He is married to his wife Najia and is the father of four children- two sets of identical twin girls! Since everything seems to come in two's, he is also the proud father of fraternal twin cats- Winston and Lulu. Stephen is passionate about making government more efficient and creating an environment for entrepreneurship to flourish. Ontario has so much potential yet it is being held back by big government, red tape and a government more focused on it's own survival. It's time for a change in both Oakville and Queen's Park. Please consider voting for Stephen Crawford on June 27th.

Our government is taking action to reduce building costs and speed up the construction of new homes through the Development Charge Reduction Program: a new, shared program with the federal government that will deliver $8.8 billion in funding towards housing-enabling infrastructure projects for municipalities that cut development charges by 30% or more.

Along with the HST relief announced in Ontario’s 2026 budget, this program will help make homes across the province more affordable.

Honoured to participate in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 486 D-Day Memorial Service in Bronte today.

We remember the bravery, sacrifice, and determination of the Canadians and Allied forces who took part in D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Their courage secured the freedoms we enjoy today.

Thank you to Branch 486 and everyone who helped make this commemoration possible.
