Oakville Army Cadets Army Cadets provides the opportunity for Oakville youth participation in challenging and exciting activities. Those interested can join anytime.

The aim of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets is "to develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership; promote physical fitness; and stimulate the interest of youth in the sea, land, and air activities of the Canadian Forces." Army Cadets is a free program for young men and women that are ages 12 and not yet 19 years old, that emphasizes the development of leadership skills, particip

ation in local community service, greater fitness levels and an understanding of the Canadian Forces as an organization. Army Cadets is the oldest and one of the largest youth programs in Canada with a focus on outdoor adventure activities. Participation in Army Cadets will generate all of the required High School community hours and is a great way for young people to make new friends. We encourage you to drop by on a parade night. We are based out of the Oakville Armoury, 90 Thomas Street. We parade on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm, from September to the end of June.
