A heartfelt thank you to Mo’s Family Restaurant!

We’re so grateful to Mo’s, their incredible staff who helped make the evening special, and everyone who attended the 16th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

We’re honoured that the donations from the dinner support Oakville Meals on Wheels and help us continue providing nutritious meals and caring connections to adults in our community.

Thank you to Moe and his staff for continuing this wonderful tradition year after year. The care, generosity, and community spirit behind this event is truly amazing!

A reminder that our office is closed today, Monday, October 12, and there are no meal deliveries today. We’ll be back tomorrow, Tuesday, October 13, with our regular delivery schedule.

Meals on Wheels is more than a meal ❤️

It’s nourishment, connection and a familiar face at the door. It helps people live independently at home and offers reassurance to families and caregivers.

To mark the start of Meals on Wheels Week during Community Support Month, we’re proud to launch a new video featuring the clients and volunteers at the heart of this essential service.

Their stories show why Meals on Wheels deserves recognition and sustained investment. As demand grows, reliable funding and a strong network of staff and volunteers are essential to reaching the people who need support. Investing in Meals on Wheels helps people stay well at home and can help prevent avoidable hospital visits and delay the need for long-term care.
