Odessa Main Street Reconstruction
Project Update - October 21, 2026

Construction continues to progress along Odessa Main Street, with work underway on concrete and paving for the parking lanes.

Overall, the contractor remains on track to meet the November 15, 2026 completion target, with minor seasonal finishing work anticipated for spring 2027. All timelines remain subject to weather and site conditions.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and understanding as this important infrastructure work progresses.

Flags at Township facilities are being lowered to half-mast in recognition of the tragic incident at CFB Wainwright. Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and colleagues of the individuals who lost their lives, those who were injured, and all those affected.

This tragedy is being felt deeply across the country, including within our own community, which is home to many Canadian Armed Forces members, veterans, military families, and those who support them.

During this difficult time, we stand with them in grief and remembrance.
