What’s Needed Wednesday (August 26) 🎒📚

It's almost time to kick off another school year, and that means freshly sharpened pencils, crisp notebooks and packed lunches!

As families get ready for kids to head back to the classroom, we need to replenish our shelves for the season. If you're tackling back-to-school shopping this week, consider adding an extra item to your cart to help local families meet the challenge 🙏

A huge thank you to the amazing team at the Okotoks TD Branch for stopping by with a generous $1,000 donation to help us purchase healthy, perishable food for our hamper program!

We were happy to give the team a tour of the Food Bank and show them what happens behind the scenes each day to support local families. We love having the opportunity to connect with local businesses and share the work we do in our community. 🥰

Summer is flying by, and it’s already time to think about back to school!

Registration is still open for our Back to School Snack Packs, designed to give families a little extra support as they get ready for the new school year.

Each pack includes nonperishable snacks and food items for children to enjoy at school and after school during their first week back.

If your family could use some extra support, we’d love to help! ✏️🥰

What a fantastic day at the Okotoks Show & Shine on Sunday! 🚗☀️

A huge thank you to Big Rock Auto Club and everyone who stopped by our tent, whether you brought a food or cash donation, stopped for a chat, or simply came by to say hello. We loved seeing all the amazing cars, enjoying the great food and music, and soaking up the beautiful weather!

Bring a Food Bank item to the Show and Shine this Sunday. Drop off barrels will be at registration at top of Veterans and the Food truck will be parked in front of the ESSO gas station

A huge thank you to CIP Office Technology and these two wonderful gentlemen for delivering and installing our new printer that was generously donated! 💛

We are so grateful to have this new printer to help us produce our newsletters, Food of the Month information sheets, client resources, and so much more.

As a nonprofit, support that helps reduce our overhead costs is incredibly valuable. Thank you for supporting the work we do and helping us make the most of every dollar donated to the Food Bank!
