We’re sorry to share that the Steve Rae and The Pony Man Band Fundraiser scheduled for this Saturday at Westminster United Church has been cancelled.

Due to limited ticket sales, the difficult decision was made to cancel the event after careful consideration.

Those who have purchased tickets will be contacted soon with information about receiving a refund.

We sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and want to thank everyone who supported the fundraiser and helped spread the word.

What an incredible weekend! 💚⚾️

We are so grateful to everyone who came out and helped make our baseball tournament such an amazing success.

Our partnership with Kala’s Wings truly could not have gone better. From start to finish, the shared commitment to raising awareness about mental health and su***de awareness was felt throughout the entire weekend. Our two causes are so deeply connected, and we were incredibly honoured that Kala’s Wings placed their trust in Choices Shelter and Support Services to stand alongside them, share their cause, and work together toward such an important message of awareness, compassion and hope.

We met so many wonderful people over the weekend and were reminded again and again of the power of community. We had beautiful weather ☀️, fantastic baseball ⚾️ , amazing food and drinks 🍔🥂, incredible prizes 🎁, and most importantly, an incredible group of people who came together for something much bigger than the tournament itself. 👥

A huge thank you to every baseball player who participated, every volunteer who gave their time, and all of the Choices’ staff who helped throughout the weekend. Thank you as well to our incredible sponsors whose generosity helped make this event possible.

And to every single person who attended, supported, donated, volunteered, played, purchased a raffle ticket, shared our message, or simply took a moment to reflect on what this weekend represented — thank you. Your participation has an impact far beyond the baseball diamond.

This weekend was an incredible success, and we are so proud of what was accomplished together.
