Nursing Home Without Walls at Maple Ridge helps adults 60+ in the Oromocto area feel supported while living safely at home.

We connect seniors to free, non-clinical help, friendly social connection, and guidance to reduce isolation.

🥣 We had a fabulous time with some of our NHWW members at the 1st Annual Community Soupfest in support of Oromocto Training and Employment Centre

From picking up the beautiful vintage soup bowls at The Oromocto Galleria to tasting the delicious Mitchell soups with rolls and dessert all prepared by OTEC. The space was so welcoming and the rainy day added to the atmosphere of having the delicious soup!

What a great community event. Shout out to all of the sponsors and organizers of this event!

Maple Ridge Enhanced Living was well represented today with our NHWW program staff and some of the management team in attendance.

Do you have a passion for helping seniors stay active, connected, and independent?

The Nursing Home Without Walls (NHWW) program at Enhanced Living – Maple Ridge in Oromocto is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Seniors’ Wellness Coordinator to join our team!

🌟 Position details:

- Part-time: 22.5hrs weekly (M-F), could possibly lead into full-time
- $25.00 per hour
- Location: Maple Ridge - Enhanced Living - 67 Sebani Street, Oromocto, NB

Additional benefits:
Pension and employee benefits are available with vacation and sick days, that will be discussed with successful candidates.

💚 What will you do?

Help plan and deliver meaningful social activities, recreational programs, wellness initiatives, and educational opportunities for seniors in their homes and throughout the community. You’ll help build connections, reduce social isolation, and make a positive difference in the lives of older adults and their caregivers.

🎓 Education in Personal Support Work, Gerontology, or a related field is a strong asset. Senior care or healthcare experience is also an asset.

🍂🧡 Happy Thanksgiving from our NHWW family to yours! 🧡🍂

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we’re feeling extra grateful for our wonderful NHWW community!

In just 6 months, we’ve grown to 180 members and built something truly special—a community filled with friendship, laughter, connection and belonging. ❤️

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing members, event helpers, transportation volunteers and community partners!

We celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with some of our members. What an amazing gathering. We would like to thank Union Brewing and The Rocky Lemon who helped us celebrate Thanksgiving with a third of our members yesterday and to Green element supplements who helped capture the gathering.

NHWW is more than a program—it’s a family, and we couldn’t do it without YOU!

Wishing everyone a Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter and gratitude. 🍁

🥰 We had such a great Lunch & Learn today with Jody R. Carr about Wills & POA's. He certainly is a natural speaker and entertainer who kept our members laughing the whole time when the subject of wills can be a bit overwhelming.

Thank you to all 45 members who joined us today! Another record breaker. We enjoyed a roast beef dinner from This & That that was very 👌 delicious! And to Darlene for making the molasses cake. 🍰

Our NHWW members had so much fun at our Coffee & Games Day! Our members enjoyed playing new and old games. Lots of laughter and conversations had by all. We love our NHWW family! 🥰

🍎We had such a great apple picking trip to Charlotte's Family Orchard with our NHWW members today!

🌞The weather was perfect, the apple trees were full and the social connections were even better!

Everyone went home with apples 🍎 and we cannot wait to see/hear what our members create with todays pickings! 🥧
