Last week we had our Lunch & Learn with Jacqueline from Absolute Healing. We are so thankful for all of her wisdom and knowledge on essential oils, aromatherapy and natural medicines!

We had a great lunch catered by Pita Pit ๐Ÿฅฐ and ofcourse the venue at the visitor information centre is so welcoming and has such a wonderful atmosphere.

Our next Lunch & Learn is September 17th and is on Brain Health with the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick. Please register by calling/texting 506-476-6499 or by emailing [email protected]. Please let us know if you have any allergies when registering.

๐Ÿฅ’ There is nothing quite like getting together with people, sharing laughs and making a batch of delicious Lady Ashburnham's Pickles!

A few of our NHWW members and our Seniors' Wellness Coordinator, Melissa, had a wonderful time these past 2 days chopping, mixing and creating a classic homemade favourite. What a great way to enjoy good company while making something tasty to take home!

A big thank you to Saint John Anglican's Church for the use of their beautiful kitchen! We truly appreciate it!๐Ÿฅฐ

We would also love to thank the members who shared the past 2 days at this event and to our Melissa and one of our members Yvette who did such a great job organizing and initiating this event. We appreciate you all being apart of it ๐Ÿฅฐ

We had a great turn out for our 1st Coffee & Games Social at the Oromocto Recreation & Tourism Centre. What a beautiful place to have a gathering!

We had a morning full of connection, cards, board games, conversation, coffee, tea, muffins and coconut cream pies. We were so thankful that Melissa, our Wellness Coordinator, and one of our beautiful members baked the pies and brought them to our social! They were scrumptious.๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฅง๐Ÿ˜‹

We had one member that has not played Yahtzee for 60yrs and she pulled off a win!!๐ŸŽฒ

Thank you to the members who came, to our volunteers who helped with transportation and set up, the staff at the tourism centre, and to our staff for always being the best.

Such a great morning spent with new and old connections and new friendships formed.

We recently had a Lunch & Learn with Mark & Kathy from the NB Parkinson's Working Group. We thank them both for sharing their Parkinson journeys as well as the many resources and supports available in New Brunswick!

We would also like the members who attended and to The Rocky Lemon for catering our event with delicious sandwiches and salads.

Parkinson Canada is hosting their annual SuperWalk Fundraising event at the Currie Centre in Fredericton on September 13th.

๐Ÿฅฐ Our NHWW members had an amazing time taking in the incredible artwork, fascinating history, and beautiful natural surroundings of the Hanson Art Gallery. Robin Hanson's passion for his work truly shines through as he shares the story behind each piece of art making the experience both inspiring and unforgettable!

The outdoor sculpture trail was a favourite and a few adventurous members even climbed the lookout tower to enjoy the beautiful view! It was a day filled with laughter, conversation, exploration, and lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to Robin Hanson for such a warm welcome and for sharing your remarkable talent with us. Thank you also to James of Green element supplements for being a Volunteer with our program and capturing these amazing pictures!
