Oshawa Firefighters, IAFF Local 465, are proud to endorse Jim Lee for Mayor of Oshawa.

Jim brings decades of experience as a firefighter and labour leader, along with his service as Ward 2 City Councillor. He has managed budgets, led staff and run public safety campaigns across North America, and he'll bring that experience to the mayor's office.

"Jim knows what it takes to keep a community safe, because he's done the work himself. He understands the value of strong public services and the people who deliver them, and he'll stand up for both," says Local 465 President Peter Dyson.

Our members believe Jim has the experience and judgment to lead . Vote Jim Lee for Mayor on October 26.

Oshawa Firefighters, IAFF Local 465, are proud to endorse Bob Chapman for re-election as Ward 3 Regional and City Councillor.

Over the years, Bob has become a trusted councillor and a friend of Local 465. He has built that trust through open dialogue and a willingness to listen to our members’ concerns.

We value being able to have honest, constructive conversations with Bob about the challenges facing firefighters and the community we serve.

Our Local is pleased to support his re-election and looks forward to continuing our work together to strengthen public safety in Oshawa.
