Badger Sighting Update

Please be advised that what we believe may be the same badger previously reported has now been spotted in the Willow Drive area.

Several calls have been made regarding the animal; however, there is currently no agency that will attend and remove it.

Residents are asked to keep their distance and not approach the badger.

Human activity, noise and light can help discourage the badger from remaining in the area. Residents may consider leaving an outdoor light on at night or playing a radio nearby as a deterrent.

Please continue to use caution and give the animal plenty of space.

Our Pool Party was yesterday... but the pool is still open today Thursday August 27th and our final day for the 2026 season is tomorrow Friday August 28th. Come enjoy the last couple of days at the Pool.

⚠️ BADGER SIGHTING – PLEASE USE CAUTION ⚠️

Residents are advised that a badger has been spotted in town, most recently in a backyard on 6th Avenue.

For everyone’s safety, please keep children and pets indoors and avoid approaching or attempting to interact with the animal.

The Town is aware of the situation and is actively working to address it.

Please use caution and share this information with others who may not see this notice.

Please note that the Town of Osler Office will be closed on Monday, August 3 in observance of the Civic Holiday.

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, August 4.

The upcoming weekend promises to be a lovely one, and the Osler Paddling Pool is an ideal destination. Situated in Heritage Park, it features a charming gazebo and plenty of picnic tables, allowing for a relaxing meal or snack, and a play structure ensures entertainment for the little ones.
