More on the cucumbers!

🥒 Last week, IWSO’s very own Laura Campbell, English Conversation Circle Facilitator, answered the call when Food Sharing Ottawa announced that 30,000 pounds of fresh cucumbers needed to be rescued!

Thanks to this incredible community effort, fresh cucumbers were shared with the immigrant and racialized women we serve, helping ensure nutritious food reached those who could benefit from it most.

A huge shout-out to Food Sharing Ottawa for the amazing work they do to reduce food waste and support our community. We are grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to connect our clients with healthy, fresh produce.
