That’s a wrap on our summer BBQs!☀🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this summer so much fun! From dinosaur races, obstacle courses, and mini basketball games, to carnival treats, clowns, and lots of delicious food. We loved seeing so many members of our community come out, have fun, and connect with one another. ❤️

🌟 A few honorary mentions…

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing community partners who joined us throughout the summer and shared their wonderful programs and resources with our community. Your impact is truly incredible, and we hope to have many more opportunities to work together in the future!

A very special shoutout to Mikey, who cooked burgers and hotdogs for our community week after week. Honestly, I’m not sure what we’re going to do without them until next summer… I may be dreaming about those burgers for a while🍔😂

And last, but certainly not least, thank you to our Foster Farm staff team! From planning and organizing to setting up, running the events, cleaning up, and everything in between, each person played an important part in making these events happen. We truly could not have done it without everyone who showed up and contributed.

Thank you all for making this summer one to remember! ☀️

Good afternoon everyone!

Friendly reminder that we have our Youth Resources Fair for high school students (ages 13-18) this week on Wednesday, August 12th from 1-3pm. You will have the opportunity to learn about resources and programs within our community🎊

We will have Halal lunches, snacks, and prizes! And don't worry- the event is rain or shine! We will hold it inside of the community house if it is raining.

Good morning, everyone! ☀️

Tomorrow is our Resource Fair BBQ from 1:00–3:00 PM! 🌭

Come enjoy some great food, spend time with your neighbours, and learn about the wonderful resources available in our community.

We'll also have community partners joining us, including EarlyON, United Sisters, Brotherhood, and Employment Services, who will be available to answer questions and share information about their programs.

We can't wait to see you there for an afternoon of food, fun, and community!

Good afternoon everyone! Join us tomorrow from 1:00–3:00 PM for our Carnival BBQ! 🎉🎪

We'll have:
🎨 Face painting
🌭 Halal hot dogs
🍿 Fresh popcorn
🍭 Cotton candy
🎯 Lots of fun carnival games for all ages!

🌧️ Due to the forecasted heavy rain, the event will now be held inside the Community House. Rain or shine, the fun is still on!
