Mouthguards aren’t just for kids. Many sports involve contact or the risk of falls, collisions, or flying equipment, which can lead to injuries like lost teeth, fractured jaws, and cuts to the gums. A mouthguard protects your teeth and the soft tissues in your mouth and can help absorb impact to reduce the risk of jaw fractures.

Want to know when to wear a mouthguard and how to choose the right one?

As warmer weather approaches, be mindful of the small, annoying & clingy things out there that can really just come at you out of nowhere and rain on your parade.
Ticks, btw. We're talking about ticks. Not exes.

Check out www.OttawaPublicHealth.ca/LymeDisease for info about avoiding ticks.

Info about avoiding exes can be found by mentioning their name to your friends.
