World Day Against Child Labour
Today, on World Day Against Child Labour, we stand in solidarity with the millions of children around the world who are still denied their right to a safe, healthy, and fulfilling childhood.
Child labour is not only a violation of children's rights. It is often rooted in poverty, inequality, weak labour protections, conflict, and failures in global governance. Ending child labour requires coordinated action at the local, national, and international levels.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, grow, and reach their full potential free from exploitation and dangerous working conditions.
As global citizens, we must continue advocating for policies and institutions that protect human dignity, uphold human rights, and ensure that no child is left behind.
Because every child deserves a childhood.
