CARP Ottawa always appreciates the opportunity to participate in BuildABLE’s Adapt Expo. It’s an excellent chance to meet members of the public and promote our two advocacy issues – Long-term care and Fall Prevention. And since the Expo focuses on accessible living, it aligns with our fall prevention message on universal design and inclusion for everyone in both homes and public spaces. Kyla and her team do an excellent job of bringing together exhibitors who provide advice on all aspects of accessible living. It also allows CARP Ottawa to find out more about organizations, companies and individuals that support inclusion and adaptive living for all.

Dreamers walk Canada is joining the Ottawa TTim Horton’s Dragon Boat Festival this year. We are down a couple of paddlers and looking. PRACTICE this Saturday at Rideau Canoe club located at 804 hogs back 2 PM.
