Today in our Day in the Life, we enjoyed another wonderful day filled with culture, connection, and celebration.

At the heart of today’s activities was the opportunity to learn about and celebrate Filipino culture. Our Filipino team members proudly shared their heritage through delicious traditional food, warm smiles, and their amazing positive energy.

A special thank you to our Filipino staff for preparing a wonderful lunch featuring authentic Filipino dishes that everyone enjoyed.

The fun didn’t stop there! We also enjoyed trivia, cultural conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect and learn from one another.

Our afternoon Social Time was a full house! Residents, family members, and staff came together to enjoy a fantastic live concert performed by our talented receptionist, Adrian. The celebration also included traditional Filipino dances presented by our staff, adding even more energy that make everyone joining the dance floor.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable celebration of culture, community, and togetherness.

Another highlight of the day was our FIFA World Cup Mini Golf Tournament! 🌎⚽⛳
Residents and staff traveled from country to country, one hole at a time, celebrated and enjoyed nations from around the globe. The competition was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and great sportsmanship as we crowned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in both the resident and staff categories.
The fun continued into the afternoon, wrapping up with a wonderful Social Time where everyone enjoyed delicious snacks and shared stories from the day. It was a fantastic way to bring our community together and create lasting memories.

A Day in the Life at Maplewood- Part 1 of 2
Some of the beautiful moments experienced today at Maplewood!
It was a busy and rewarding day.
We started bright and early with a special breakfast prepared for the wonderful women of Maplewood—absolutely delicious!
One of the most touching moments of the day was when our community came together to celebrate a very special milestone. We gathered to wish one of our residents a happy 100th birthday, signed a birthday card, and sang “Happy Birthday” together. It was a heartfelt moment for her, her family, and everyone present as we celebrated and honored a century of memories, experiences, and a life well lived.
Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. These moments are what make our community such a wonderful place to call home.

In the morning, we enjoyed an outing to the Parliament and an immersive experience that brought history to life in a unique way. We then continued with a scenic drive, taking in beautiful views along the way, followed by music with Lauren Hall and a social time wine & cheese.

Maplewood enjoyed a wonderful day today at our Western BBQ! Residents gathered outdoors to celebrate with great food, live music, dancing, and plenty of smiles. The beautiful weather, western-themed atmosphere, and wonderful company made for a fun and memorable afternoon. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, friendship, and community spirit!
