When a member of your family joins the military it can sometimes be a confusing new world to understand. This fun and interactive workshop offers an introduction to the military and the military lifestyle.

Topics will include: an overview of the Canadian Armed Forces, rank structure, acronyms and abbreviations and much more! This is an adult program for ages 19yrs+. Parents of members, partners/spouses of members, adult children, and friends of members are welcome to attend.

Lorsqu'un membre de votre famille s'engage dans l'armée, il peut parfois s'agir d'un nouvel univers difficile à appréhender. Cet atelier ludique et interactif propose une introduction à l'armée et au mode de vie militaire.

Parmi les thèmes abordés : une présentation générale des Forces armées canadiennes, la hiérarchie militaire, les acronymes et abréviations, et bien plus encore ! Il s'agit d'un programme destiné aux adultes âgés de 19 ans et plus. Les parents des militaires, leurs conjoints ou partenaires, leurs enfants majeurs et leurs amis sont les bienvenus.

Attention all Primary Reservists!
The Canadian Armed Forces has increased the annual and lifetime funding available through the Education Expense Reimbursement (EER) program. Eligible Primary Reservists can now receive up to $7,500 per academic year for completed courses, with a lifetime maximum of $30,000.
