Waste Management unfortunately could not complete the scheduled waste pickup on Monday, June 15th due to equipment issues. The following areas will be recollected on Wednesday, June 17th:

- Zion Church Rd (Concession 21 - Grey Rd 17)
- Thompson Sideroad
- Grey Road 17 (Hwy 6 to Wolseley)
- Mountain Lake Road
- Mountain Lake Drive
- Patterson Parkway
- Almur Dr.
- Hindman Sideroad

Please have your waste at the roadside by 7 am as usual. If you’re outside these areas and missed your pickup, report it via Contact GB for assistance. 📨 Thank you for your patience.

Game On in Georgian Bluffs!

Join us at Shallow Lake Arena on June 21, 2026, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. for the Annual Longest Day of Play Event. Enjoy an active afternoon of fun, including the first-ever Youth Road Hockey Tournament. Register online and come ready with your gear - including helmets. Families can also enjoy inflatable games, yard games, face painting, a craft table, and even the opportunity to meet local firefighters from the Inter Township Fire Department!

Georgian Bluffs is grading gravel roads and applying calcium chloride dust suppressant across the Township over the next two weeks.

Dust suppressant helps reduce airborne dust, improves visibility for drivers, and supports the maintenance of gravel road surfaces during the summer months. Work will be completed by Township crews, weather permitting.
Temporary delays may occur while work is underway. The Township asks all road users to exercise caution when travelling through active work zones. Reduced speeds help protect workers, equipment operators, and other drivers.
Freshly treated roads may remain damp for a short period following application. Drivers should use caution and adjust their speed to match road conditions.

In Georgian Bluffs, leashes are required in all public spaces as a way to ensure every outing is enjoyable and safe. Plus, it helps avoid unwanted surprises with other pets, people,or wildlife who might not feel comfortable around dogs. 🦨

Let’s create positive experiences for everyone by keeping our dogs leashed and under control. Remember, an unleashed dog could lead to fines or a trip to the pound. So grab that leash, and let’s enjoy those walks together stress-free! 🐕💖

Major park upgrades are on the way in Kemble and Sarawak! 🎉 We're bringing playground upgrades, improved accessibility, and lush landscaping for everyone to enjoy! Thanks to the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund for making this work possible.

Construction kicks off this week at Kemble Athletic Field with preparations underway tomorrow, followed by Sarawak Park beginning next week. We will keep access to the beach open throughout the construction at Sarawak, but there may be brief periods where it is blocked off. Keep an eye out for activity at both parks as we transform our community spaces. Let’s get ready to play! 🏞️💚

Yoga in the Park is Back!
Another summer in Georgian Bluffs means another beautiful season of Yoga in the Park at Sarawak Family Park! Join us by the water for a relaxed, welcoming outdoor yoga experience - perfect for all ages and abilities. Led by local instructor Julie Bradley-Low from Stonegrove Farm & Wellness Studio, these free sessions are all about moving your body, finding your breath, and enjoying the fresh air with your community.

Upcoming Dates:

• July 5 & 19
• August 9 & 23
• September 13
All sessions begin at 10:30 AM

Be sure to bring your own mat, water, and anything else you think you'll need - a small amount of extra mats will be provided. Starting July 2, 2026, you can get a refund for those unused garbage bag tags! 🗑️💰 With our new cart-based waste collection system launching on July 6, no more bag tags will be needed for your household trash starting that date.

If you've got unused bag tags in good condition with the current design, bring them back by September 30 and get back at $2.25 each! Return between 4-20 tags for cash; if you have over 21, you'll get a cheque.

Update: The Balmy Beach Tennis / Pickleball Courts at Indian Falls Conservation Area are Now Open for Use.

The LED lighting maintenance at our Balmy Beach Tennis/ Pickleball Courts has been completed and the facilities are once again open for use.
