Spring is on its way, but in the interim, please be reminded about these basic guidelines to help prevent slip, trip and fall injuries associated with icy conditions!

• Pay attention to weather and changing conditions.
• When outdoors, stay alert, be observant and take small, careful steps.
• Where possible, keep hands free for balance.
• Wear appropriate slip-resistant footwear.
• Use designated walkways and handrails .
• Report hazards immediately, particularly in County building entrances , parking lots and interior transition areas.

Remember: Most slips, trips, and falls are preventable.
Taking a few extra seconds to move safely can prevent serious injury. Stay safe and look out for one another!

Please ensure all windows and door are kept closed and securely fastened during extreme cold temperatures This helps prevent pipes from freezing and avoids unnecessary damage and high repair costs.

Storm & Power Outage Safety Reminder -

Please ensure you have extra supplies on hand in case of a storm or power outage. If conditions are stormy, avoid travel whenever possible. If you must go out, take extra caution when walking and remain aware of falling snow and ice.

Before heading out, always check current weather conditions. For your safety, do not walk in unmaintained areas on the property.

Staying prepared and cautious helps keep everyone safe!

As the weather has cooled this Fall, we have seen an increase in pest activity in some of our buildings. Pests often seek warm indoor spaces at this time of year, so we want to make sure everyone knows how to help prevent pests and what to do if you see any signs in your unit. Please refer to the attached flyer for information. By reporting concerns early and following these precautions, we can work together to prevent infestations and keep everyone's home safe and comfortable. If you notice any signs of pests, please contact Housing right away.
