⚠️ Action Required by Monday, August 31

This is the final reminder for bulk water account holders who have not yet completed the new application process.

Over the past several months, we have posted signage at bulk water filling stations, shared reminders on social media, extended the compliance deadline twice, and contacted many users directly. Despite these efforts, some accounts remain incomplete.

Accounts without a completed application will be suspended on Monday, August 31.

If your account is suspended, you will be required to submit a completed application before service can be reactivated.

If you have not yet completed the new application, please do so immediately to avoid any interruption to your access.

Grey Bruce Public Health has informed the City of Owen Sound to post Kelso Beach at Nawash Park as unsafe for swimming after routine water-sampling results showed bacterial levels exceeding Ontario Ministry of Health standards.

The beach posting will remain in effect until further samples show levels have returned to within the acceptable range for swimming/bathing.

Residents and visitors should refrain from swimming or playing in the water at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park or let pets drink or play in the water until the no-swimming advisory is lifted.
