🦋 Are you grieving a loved one? Join us with Oak and Acorn Psychotherapy for an art therapy workshop on Tuesday, June 2 from 1:00-2:00 pm. Create and decorate a butterfly for your loved one so it can be added to a collective memorial installation for National Grief and Bereavement Day in November. Gardener in Residence - Using Ornamental Grasses in Your Landscape. Tuesday, May 19 from 2:00-3:30 pm in the Auditorium.

Learn from the Grey County Master Gardeners about the diverse types of ornamental grasses, how to plant and divide them, where to place them, and how to use them for best effect in your garden.

Grasses are a wonderful attribute in our gardens. They provide texture, movement, and sound.

The Gardener in Residence program is presented by the Grey County Master Gardeners. Attend a monthly gardening demo followed by a 1-hour drop-in advice clinic for all your plant and garden queries.

Sally Carruthers – Wake / Celebration of Life / Come & Go Tea

Friends and family will celebrate the life of Sally Carruthers together this May 16 at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library, and you are welcome to join. While she liked the word ‘wake', this will be a come-and-go-tea style gathering, with light fare and refreshments and no formal program, but the opportunity to speak for any who have a few words. Men, no hats in-doors, or she’ll be expecting a donation. It would be ‘literally' ‘perfect’, of course, if you came ready to talk to each other about the last good book you read. On the whole, she’d rather be reading. So, she’d understand if you can’t make it. You can always draw nearer - just open a book - or get out and enjoy the sunshine in the ‘wikeawades warld.’
