Happy Tails: Read with a Therapy Dog
Grades 1-4 (with a guardian present)

Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Thursday, November 12, 2026
Thursday, November 19, 2026

4:30-5:30 pm in the Board Room

With our friends from St. John Ambulance, it’s time to meet a certified therapy dog! After getting to know a new doggy friend, children and their guardians are able to share a peaceful storytime with a gentle pup. Four 15 minute timeslots will be available for one-on-one reading time - staff will contact everyone who registers to communicate the exact timing.

Meet Tia-Bone! 🐶: "T-Bone is a calm, short-legged northern girl and only barks when she wants something. She walks at the park twice a day so she can visit with 2- and 4- legged friends and strangers - and has been known to invite herself to picnics, which can be embarrassing. She loves food and chasing her favourite highland cow toy."

Registration required.
