The next opportunity for prenatal classes begins Tuesday Sept 01.

This three evening Labour and Birth Preparation series is free and taken from the comfort of home.
Classes are open to anyone pregnant in the community and their supports.

Join us August 29–30 for an immersive overnight experience at Cape Croker Park , presented in collaboration with Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences. Discover the beauty of the land through outdoor adventure, Anishinaabe storytelling, and meaningful land-based learning. ✨

Spend the night in one of our cozy canvas-walled tents on raised wooden platforms, paddle the beautiful waters of Sydney Bay and/or explore Cape Croker Park on a guided fat bike tour, enjoy a guided nature hike, and gather around the campfire for cultural teachings and stories shared by Anishinaabe guides. You won't have to worry about meal prepping for this trip as each meal is catered by an Anishinaabe elder.

This one-of-a-kind weekend is an opportunity to connect with nature, deepen your understanding of Anishinaabe culture, and experience the land in a meaningful way.

REMINDER: This is happening on Monday (July 27th) in partnership with Maadookii Seniors Centre. Hosting 2 Information Sessions/Short Presentations with a Question/Answer period to follow each presentation.

There will be on site assistance for those wanting to make application for themselves/someone else.
