Water safety education plays an important role in helping children develop the skills and confidence they need around water. As we look ahead to a new school year, we're reflecting on the impact of Swim to Survive and Swim to Survive+ across Grey Bruce. 🏊

During the 2025-2026 school year:
✅13 schools from across Grey Bruce participated at our YMCA
✅459 Grade 3 students took part in Swim to Survive
✅323 Grade 7 students participated in Swim to Survive+
✅More than 700 students gained valuable water safety knowledge and skills

We're proud to partner with the Lifesaving Society Ontario to help equip local youth with skills that can last a lifetime and contribute to safer communities across Grey Bruce.

Every vehicle donated helps remove financial barriers so individuals and families can access YMCA programs, services, and opportunities right here in our community.
