🎃🧡 Baby Bum-kins! 🧡🎃

A little paint, some tiny bums, and a whole lot of cuteness!

We had fun turning all of the little ones’ bum prints into the sweetest little pumpkins! These adorable keepsakes are a fun way to celebrate the fall season and capture just how little they are.

The tiniest pumpkins are definitely the cutest ones in the patch!

🎃🥞 Fun with Food! 🥞🎃

Today we made delicious pumpkin pancakes! The kids loved being part of the process, helping with measuring, dumping and mixing all the ingredients together.

Cooking activities are a great way to build early math skills through measuring, practice fine motor skills, develop hand-eye coordination, and encourage listening, following directions and teamwork. They also give children the opportunity to explore new smells, textures and tastes while building confidence and independence.

Learning is always a little more fun when we can get our hands messy and make something yummy together!

🍂🍁 Leaf Man Fall Craft! 🍁🍂

Last week we read the story Leaf Man before heading to the craft table to create our very own Leaf Man canvases!

The children had fun using their creativity and imagination to turn fall leaves into their own unique creations. It was a great way to explore the colours and beauty of autumn while enjoying a little hands-on fun!

Every Leaf Man turned out a little different, and we loved seeing the children’s creativity shine!

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, we take time to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities. 🧡

At EarlyON, we believe that learning, listening, and creating space for Indigenous voices and experiences are important steps toward reconciliation. Together, we can help teach the next generation about kindness, respect, understanding, and the truth of our shared history.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Today and every day, we honour First Nations, Métis and Inuit children, families and communities.
