Looking for a fun family activity to kick off June? Join us for Hooked on Fishing & BBQ at Moose Creek Regional Park!

Kids will learn the basics of fishing from Conservation Officers, including:
🐟 Equipment & tackle
🎣 Casting & knot tying
🪱 Baits & lures
🛟 Fishing safety
🌿 Fish identification & biology

Plus, enjoy a free BBQ featuring cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and pop! Donated by Souris Moose Creek Wildlife Federation.

🎁 Kids can enter to win fishing equipment and lures!

A reminder that we’ll be welcoming Jennifer Olfert of The M Effect to the Oxbow Library on Thursday, May 28th at 6:30 p.m. for an evening focused on menopause, perimenopause, nutrition, and women’s health.

Jennifer is a Certified Holistic Menopause Coach with more than 15 years of experience in women’s health, fitness, and nutrition coaching. Her approach is honest, supportive, and practical — creating space for real conversations and real questions.

Whether you’re currently navigating this stage of life, supporting someone who is, or simply wanting to learn more, this evening is designed to leave attendees feeling informed, understood, and empowered.

The evening will include a presentation followed by an open Q&A in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

This event is free to attend and open to all.
