Bad dancing? We’ll allow it.
Bad smoke alarm batteries? Absolutely not. 👀

🔥 BAD: Forgetting to test your smoke alarms
🚨 BAD: Not checking your carbon monoxide (CO) alarms
🔋 BAD: Ignoring dead or expired alarms
🏠 REALLY BAD: Not having a home fire escape plan

So take a lesson from Chief Dan…

Being BAD is fine on the dance floor, not when it comes to fire safety. 😂🔥

Test your alarms. Check your batteries. Make your escape plan. And make sure everyone in your home knows what to do.

We’ll leave the BAD up to Chief Dan. 😎🕺

🚒🔥 What a turnout for Junior Fire Fit today!

A huge THANK YOU to the 100+ kids who came out and took on the course! We loved seeing so many future firefighters giving it everything they had. ❤️🚒

And of course, we couldn’t let the kids have all the fun…

Here we have our very own Thunderbolt, Justin Porter, taking his shot at the Junior Fire Fit course! ⚡😂

The question is… did Thunderbolt live up to the name?! 👀

Thanks to everyone who came out, cheered us on and made today such a great time!

🚒 Think you can beat Chief Dan? 👀

Tomorrow at the Paisley Fairgrounds, Junior Fire Fit kicks off at 9:30 AM, and District Chief Dan from Station 80 is ready to take on the competition!

Come out, give the course a try and see if you have what it takes to beat the Chief. 💪🔥

We have a feeling some of our junior firefighters might give him a run for his money. 😂

🇺🇸🚒 9/11 WE REMEMBER

Today, the Paisley Fire Department joins firefighters and communities everywhere in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honour the 343 FDNY firefighters, along with the police officers, paramedics, first responders and civilians who lost their lives that day.

We remember the courage of those who ran toward danger when others were running away, and the countless acts of bravery, sacrifice and compassion that followed.

To the families who lost loved ones, to the survivors, and to every first responder forever impacted by that day we remember.

Courage. Service. Sacrifice.
🇺🇸 Never Forget. 9/11/2001 🇺🇸

🥞🚒 HOW MANY FIREFIGHTERS DOES IT TAKE TO FLIP A PANCAKE?

Apparently… it’s a team effort. 👨‍🚒

We had our Firefighters’ Breakfast today and had an AMAZING turnout! ❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, grabbed some breakfast, shared some laughs and supported us. It was great seeing so many people from the community!

As for the pancake flipping…

🔥 They can fight fires.
🚒 They can handle emergencies.
🥞 But one pancake? BACKUP WAS REQUIRED.

Thanks for a great morning, everyone! ❤️🚒
