Coaches & Officials have a look:

NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR COACHES AND OFFICIALS.

The new Coaches and Officials Development Funding Program provides eligible coaches and officials with up to $500 per 12-month period toward approved development expenses.

Training that occurs in the province, or that is completed in the province, can be eligible for funding through the program. For example, a coach completing a sport-specific online course at home or attending an in-person seminar in a local community may now be eligible to receive funding to help offset the cost of training.

2026-27 Swimming NL - Memorial University Entrance Scholarship

The Swimming Newfoundland and Labrador Entrance Scholarship, valued at $1,500, is awarded annually to an undergraduate student in their first year of study in any program at Memorial University of Newfoundland who is a member of the Sea-Hawks Varsity Swim Team.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: October 14, 2026.

Swimming Newfoundland and Labrador is looking for our 2026–27 Swimmer Representative 🙌

Do you have:

✔️At least 3 years of competitive swimming experience?
✔️Are you 16 or older and a current senior swimmer?

If yes, you could be the voice for swimmers across the province! 💬💦

👉The Swimmer Rep will join SNL’s Competitions Committee, helping to oversee swim meets in Newfoundland and Labrador. From reviewing meet formats and time standards to working with coaches and meet managers, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact!

What a summer it has been and it’s not finished just yet!
This coming weekend, the Summer Club season comes together in Gander for the 2026 Summer Club Championships, with over 370 swimmers from 8 Summer Clubs across the island ready for three days of racing, team spirit and FUN!
