The County of Brant is excited to announce the return of Celebrate June – an annual, month-long celebration presenting activities and events focused on Seniors Month and Recreation and Parks Month throughout Brant communities.

“Celebrate June continues to be a highlight of the year in the County of Brant,” said Stacey Ellins, Director of Parks and Recreation. “It’s an opportunity for the Parks and Recreation team to showcase programs for all ages, our incredible community partners and our outdoor spaces. We encourage everyone to get involved in Celebrate June activities!”

Once again, the month of June is packed full of fun with a range of free and low-cost activities and ideas for residents of all ages to get active. From outdoor fitness classes and walking groups to social events, family-friendly fun, and multi-generational programming—there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Key highlights this June include:
✔ The Opening of the Paris Community Pool and Splash Pads - offering public swims for all ages and so much more, the Paris Community Pool is a County staple for the summer. The pool and splash pads are also a perfect way to stay active, cool off, and enjoy time with family and friends.
✔ Seniors Month programming - featuring a wide range of activities from swims to fitness, outdoor walks, outdoor games and more – there is an opportunity for older adults of all fitness levels to take part.
✔ Park activities - from Park Patrol to PA Day in the Park, and movies and music, there are lots of free drop-in programs and activities taking place this June - and throughout the summer.
✔ Community Partners – in addition to County programs our June calendar highlights programs with community partners, including EarlyON Brantford Brant, County of Brant Public Library, St. George Lawn Bowling Club, Paris Lawn Bowling Club and others. Thank you to these partners for celebrating June with us!
✔ The Park vs Park Challenge is back for year 2! This friendly competition invites residents to explore and vote for their favourite local community parks. We encourage residents to visit new spaces, take part in park activities, and help crown Brant’s top park of 2026! Visit engagebrant.ca/ParkVSPark2026 to learn more.
✔ The Pride Month Flag Raising Ceremony on June 8 - All are welcome to attend and show their support for Pride Month, a celebration of diversity, inclusion, belonging and kindness!

A full calendar of Celebrate June events and information is available at brant.ca/CelebrateJune along with registration details where required.

We invite the community to take time to explore our parks and programs, connect with neighbours, friends and family, and try something new! Celebrate June with us 🎉
