We're not able to offer guided beach tours in 2026 the same as in previous years so we're pivoting to a "drop-in" model this summer!

Join our staff palaeontologists in the field at Wasson Bluff on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August when tides and weather allow!

Due to changes in Provincial funding, we're kindly asking for donations to help cover the cost of free programming such as our monthly Family Science Fun and Community Craft Days, Cobequid Young Naturalist adventures, and free venue space to non-profit organizations.

Dates and times can be found at the bottom of our home page at https://fundygeologicalmuseum.myshopify.com/ and donations are gladly accepted at our front desk, donation box in the gallery, or online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/90849?v2=true

It's and we're excited to share a new paper from Ph.D. student Miranda Margulis-Ohnuma on a new genus of crocodylomorph, Eosphorosuchus lacrimosa!

Why is this relevant to the ? E. lacrimosa lived at the same time as the dinosaurs, reptiles, and other critters that we collect and research at our primary fossil locality, Wasson Bluff. Comparing our fossil finds to similar-aged fossils all over the world gives us a better picture of the ecosystems, behaviours, and global climate from the fossil record.
