EarlyOn Child and Family Centres In the District of Parry Sound is visiting the library for playgroup and story time tomorrow!

We have a special visitor for storytime next week! Meagan from EarlyOn Child and Family Centres In the District of Parry Sound is coming to the library for circle time with songs and early literacy activities.

Playgroup and Storytime runs every Thursday from 10:00 AM - 12 noon. No registration required.

On Saturday, May 16, we celebrated 50 years of service with an open house! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this milestone with us!

And a HUGE thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who scrubbed the library, painted walls, built cabinets over the last few weeks.

Are you interested in volunteering at the library? We are currently looking for volunteers to help plant, w**d, and water our community vegetable gardens! Produce from the gardens is given away at the library throughout the summer and early autumn.

Join us on Monday June 1st at the Ardbeg Community Club for another exciting Cricut Crafternoon! We'll be hosting a workshop on glass etching using our makerspace equipment at 1 PM on the day of the event.

The Reading Dragons program continues! Every month, young readers can earn trading cards at participating libraries. Earn a card for every 30 minutes of reading! You can pick up your reading tracker at any of the three libraries, and each library has 2 unique cards per month.

Our 50th Anniversary Open House is only a few days away! Join us on Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 AM as we mark 50 years of service.

We'll be looking back at our history and growth with opening remarks before celebrating and socializing with our neighbours and friends.
