Esprit Place offers emergency accommodation and assistance for women and children in the District of Parry Sound who find themselves in crisis. Our Staff provide supportive counselling and information to assist women and their families.

A big thank you to North Cove Medi Spa for their generous $1,600 donation, raised through their International Women’s Day fundraising campaign!

This contribution will help support the important work of Esprit Place Family Resource Centre, which provides programs and services for women and children experiencing gender-based violence.

Abuse doesn’t always look obvious. It can hide behind loyalty, love, fear, and unspoken rules that tell people to stay quiet. When harmful behaviour is excused or dismissed, those experiencing it are often left to cope on their own.

As the holiday season approaches, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families, individuals, and local groups who came together to make our 2025 Sponsor-A-Family program a success.

Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to sponsor all 18 families this year, and even received donations for additional families who may need assistance over the holidays or in the new year. Each year this program, and the community support, continues to grow, and we look forward to hosting this event again next year.
