Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this event.

Men's mental health matters, and meaningful connections can make a difference. Take a moment to check in with a friend, reach out to someone you haven't spoken to in a while, or simply make time to strengthen the relationships around you.

The Buddy Up Campaign continues beyond this event. To learn more and find other ways to participate, please visit https://www.buddyup.ca/

🌱Weed Watch Wednesday: Invasive Phragmites

Don't let its tall, feathery seed heads fool you— invasive phragmites is one of the most disruptive wetland invaders in North America.

It can quickly dominate shorelines, ditches, and wetlands, displacing native plants and degrading important wildlife habitat.

Once established, phragmites can spread rapidly through both underground rhizomes and wind-dispersed seeds, making reporting and controlling new infestations early one of the most effective ways to limit its spread and safeguard our natural landscapes.

🔎 Adventure awaits at our next Wildlife Discovery Day! 🐾

Join us on July 4 at the beautiful Harmon Valley Park for a fun-filled day of exploring nature and learning about the wildlife that calls our region home.

Follow along on a guided walk as we uncover tracks, s**t, and other signs left behind by local wildlife. You'll also learn practical predator safety tips and gain a new appreciation for the animals that share our landscapes.

This family-friendly event wraps up with a delicious hot dog roast, making it the perfect way to spend a summer day outdoors.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with nature, learn something new, and create lasting family memories.

Last night, we were proud to host our Guys Night: Eat & Connect event in recognition of Men's Mental Health Month and the Buddy Up program.

The evening brought together a great group of men who shared a meal, meaningful conversations, and plenty of laughs. It was inspiring to see connections being made and relationships being strengthened in such a welcoming environment.

A big thank you to Sandi at Nampa Sunrise Café for the hospitality and amazing meal. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening a success. Congratulations to Maurice for winning the door prize!

Remember, no one has to face life's challenges alone. Connection matters. 💙
