Peace River Regional Women's Shelter To provide a short-term, safe and supportive environment for abused women and their children. "Everyone has the right to live free of violence and abuse"

The Peace River Regional Women's Shelter offers a multitude of services including;

- Emergency residential services
- Follow up support for women leaving residential services
- Outreach support offered to all individuals who have been affected by violence and abuse
- Public education sessions

The Peace River Regional Women Shelter also actively participates in community collaborative initiatives to enhance the well being of individuals in Peace River and the surrounding area.

We invite community members to join us for the Truth & Reconciliation Crosswalk Painting in Peace River.
Date: Monday, June 15, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: 100 Avenue & 98 Street, Peace River, Alberta
Artist: Jude Ducharme
This community project serves as a visible reminder of our ongoing commitment to truth, healing, and reconciliation.
Community volunteers are welcome to participate throughout the day.

Our store in the Peace River Mall is housing donations for our local women’s shelter for the entire month of May 🤍

 Specific quality of donations are the following:

-Used unlocked phones of all types
- Chargering cords
-Women’s underclothes
-Women’s hygiene products
-Children’s products

Clothing and toys are acceptable but in moderation please as they are in high demand of the following above.

Prepaid voucher cards are in high demand also, you can purchase it in our store directly and it will be delivered with the devices upon donation. Thank you
