On Tuesday, the County of Renfrew had the privilege of bringing together municipal leaders, staff, and community partners for ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ค๐ช๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ค๐ง๐ฎ, a day dedicated to leadership, connection, reflection, and the power of storytelling.
A heartfelt thank you to ๐ช๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ผ, ๐ ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ, ๐ ๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ for sharing their powerful and deeply personal stories of resilience, courage, loss, perseverance, and leadership.
We have an incredible opportunity to learn from one another through the stories we share. It is a privilege when someone invites us into their experiences, perspectives, and challenges. With that privilege comes a responsibility to truly listen, remain open to learning, and recognize the voices and stories we may not always have the opportunity to hear.
We were reminded that The stories we hear have the power to challenge our thinking, broaden our perspectives, and shape how we lead, develop policies, and serve our communities.
As we recognize Local Government Week, this message feels especially meaningful. At the heart of public service are people, relationships, and stories worth hearing.
