It's frustrating to see what people put in their green carts....like flooring tiles and vinyl siding!?!?! 😳

Just a reminder: your green cart is for food waste and yard waste only.

Renovation materials such as flooring, vinyl siding, drywall, lumber and other construction materials do not belong in the green cart. They can contaminate the organic material and interfere with the composting process.

BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC IN PLEASANT VIEW PARK!

Join us Sunday, September 13, from 12–4 p.m. at Pleasant View Park (located at 93 Spruce Ave West in LV) for an afternoon of family fun! Bring your favourite picnic lunch, a blanket or lawn chair, and enjoy games, music, face painting, balloon creations, Bouncy castle, and complimentary treats including popcorn, lemonade, ice cream, and mini cupcakes. Celebrate the start of a new school year and enjoy time together with family and friends! This free event is proudly hosted by the volunteers of the Pleasant View Park Recreation Association. Everyone is welcome!
