👋 We are ready to welcome everyone back to our communities. Our doors are open and we hope to see you soon.
Communities across the Thompson Okanagan and the province have been impacted by forest fires this summer resulting in a Provincial State of Emergency and community wide evacuations. Although no travel bans were put in place, the impacts of sensationalized messaging about the fires and inability to travel throughout the region has been felt throughout.
As a result the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association has created a campaign to share far and wide with tourism businesses, organizations, and destinations throughout the region titled Our Door Is Open. Our hope is that everyone will join us in sharing the message that our doors are open to visitors with the support of the premade campaign graphic and/or share content highlighting businesses and destinations with the incorporation of the campaign messaging and logo in both the posts and in the accompanying copy.
