Amy Carmichael was a missionary in India. Read more about other missionaries with an e-book from our online library at Master's College & Seminary. https://www.mcs.edu/library-services/

Lessons from Leaders: Amy Carmichael

“When I was younger I used to love reading about the life of Amy Carmichael and the incredible ministry she led. She faced so many difficulties in her missionary journey, yet held on to the hope that, in Christ, she could make it through and even grow stronger in perseverance and in faith. Her example can be a reminder to us that through the uncertainty and difficulties we find ourselves in, we can be encouraged that the Spirit of God has never once left us. In the midst of difficulty, the Spirit brings a peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil. 4:7) and gives us the strength to withstand the storm.”

From our shelves..
“It wasn’t the fault of the seminars, the books or the pastors. The megachurch pastors looked like giants, the giants felt like enemies, and I seemed like a grasshopper in my own eyes.”
