Trent University Library & Archives (TULA) has two branches, Bata Library (Peterborough) and the Trent Durham GTA Campus Library & Learning Centre.

Did you know that your TrentU student card is ALSO your library card? Trent students, staff and faculty can use their TrentU student card to check-out books and equipment at the Library Service Desk. Do you commute? You can also use your TrentU student card to pick up materials at any of the 17 OMNI libraries! When placing a hold, select your pick up location and head to that library with your TrentU student card. Remember to wait for a hold pick up notification before proceeding to the library. 💳

Welcome back! Are you ready for winter term? We are! Our regular hours for the semester - both Service Desk and building hours - start Monday, January 8.

Sorry, we're closed this weekend! We re-open on Monday, January 8 at 8:00am with our winter semester hours. See you then!

From January 3-5, Bata (both the Service Desk and the building) will be open 8:00am-6:00pm. We are closed January 6-7 and re-open with our regular semester hours on Monday, January 8 at 8:00am!

Omni's planned outage is complete and service has resumed.

Omni will be unavailable due to a planned outage from 7 a.m. EST on Saturday, December 30 to 7 a.m. EST on Sunday, December 31. Please note the Trent University library will be closed at this time. Contact [email protected] for questions and concerns.

The Bata Library will be closed from December 22 to January 2. We look forward to seeing you when we reopen on January 3 at 8 am. Please note the OMNI Academic search tool will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance on December 30, 2023.

We're thrilled to share that our annual holiday card-making event at Bata Library was a resounding success, with staff and students crafting 130 handmade cards for the residents of Fairhaven Long-Term Care Home!

A big thank you to everyone who participated. Events like these remind us of the importance of reaching out and connecting across generations and exemplify the true essence of the holiday season – giving, sharing, and bringing joy to others.
