🚜🌽 Share the Road 🌽🚜

Farm equipment is large, slow-moving, and often wider than a lane. Keep a safe distance and only pass when it's safe to do so.

Give farm equipment plenty of s p a c e. Never cut in front or stop suddenly after passing, as large machinery cannot brake as quickly as passenger vehicles.

Farmers have the right to a safe workplace, and that workplace often includes our roads. Let's work together to ensure everyone gets home safely.

🚨 Impatient driving risks serious accidents and fines. Careless Driving comes with a $490 fine and 6 demerit points.

📍 Look along your route for possible delays
🤔 Plan accordingly
🗺️ Enjoy your trip!

For information at the provincial level, be sure to consult Ontario 511 at www.511on.ca as well!

Safe travels and remember, great things are on the other side of detours and delays!

Alertable or Alert Ready: What's the difference? 🧐

Alert Ready delivers Canada's national emergency alerts through television, radio, and compatible mobile devices

Alertable is a separate notification service that provides local emergency alerts and important community updates from Peterborough County and area municipalities.

Both help keep you informed when it matters most.
